How to market different services on your chiropractic website

Here’s our ‘best practice’ tips to help you attract more patients.

At Premier Practice, we understand the importance of showcasing your different chiropractic services effectively on your website. From the obvious – chiropractic care – to posture checks, condition pages, different modalities, and even ecommerce, let’s discuss the best way to market your different services via your chiropractic website

First, why website marketing is important

Website marketing is not just important – but essential – as it creates your online presence. This makes it easier for potential customers to find you, as most of us ‘Google’ what we are looking for now.

Additionally, website marketing helps build brand awareness, establish credibility, and engage your target audience.

For your local chiropractic clinic, having a solid website that showcases ALL your services and how you help patients can set you apart from the clinic down the road.

What pages do you need?

Good question. The more, the better.

  • Let’s say you practice the Gonstead Chiropractic technique. Publish a new page discussing your approach to Gonstead Chiropractic.
  • Do you also offer remedial massage or dry needling? Publish unique pages promoting these services and the benefits they offer your patients.
  • You should go down the list of conditions commonly helped by chiropractors A-Z and publish a unique page addressing how you may help that condition.

Step 1 – create unique pages for each service

This takes time, however its key. You need to have dedicated pages for each service you offer. Don’t just publish one page for everything you do – as this won’t show up on Google searches. Unique pages do show up, as search engines know exactly what they are about. Items to consider when creating unique pages include:

  • SEO. Each page can target specific keywords related to that service, improving your search engine ranking. This is SEO best practice.
  • User experience. Visitors can easily find detailed information about the service they’re interested in.
  • Use descriptive titles and meta descriptions. Ensure each page has a clear title and meta description that includes relevant keywords.
  • Detailed content. Provide comprehensive information about the service, including benefits, processes, and pricing.
  • High-quality images and videos. Use visuals to make the page more engaging and to help explain the service better.

Step 2 – use footer links

Footer links are often overlooked but are very important for improving site navigation and SEO. They help visitors find important pages quickly and signal to search engines that these pages are significant.

Effective footer link strategies link to all relevant pages. Make sure each service page is linked in the footer.

Step 3 – implement internal linking

Similar to footer links, you also want to link to all your service pages from all other relevant pages. Internal links connect one page of your website to another, helping users navigate your site and improve SEO.

Say you use the word ‘back pain’. Link this to your page on back pain. Where you refer to chiropractic –  link this to your main chiropractic page.

Here are some of the best practices for internal linking:

  • Relevant anchor text. Use descriptive anchor text that includes keywords related to the linked page.
  • Logical structure. Link related pages together naturally within the content.
  • Service page links in blog posts. Include links to your service pages in relevant blog posts to drive traffic.

Step 4 – engage with compelling copywriting

Not everyone has a flair for words. If being a part time wordsmith is not your forte, consider investing in good copywriting.

Good copywriting can make a significant difference in converting visitors into customers. Focus on writing clear, persuasive, and benefit-oriented copy.

Here are some tips for publishing engaging copywriting to your individual service pages:

  • Highlight benefits. Clearly outline how your service will solve your patient’s problem or meet their needs.
  • Use a conversational tone. Write as if you’re speaking directly to the visitor to make the content more relatable.
  • Include calls-to-action (CTAs). Encourage visitors to take the next step, whether it’s contacting you, signing up for a newsletter, or booking a consultation.

Examples of good website service pages

Here are some good examples of individual website service pages.

Assist Group

This page is one of their main service pages, promoting their ‘pre employment medical testing’ service. Here are some of the best practices used on this page:

  • Large calls to action in their top bar ‘ GET PRICE NOW’ in orange and ‘CALL OUR CLINICS’ in green
  • Breadcrumbs – the page navigation showing Home > Medicals > Pre Employment Medicals – good for SEO and user exerpeiunce
  • Unique intro about the service, where they offer it, and how to make contact.

Swoop Broadband

This is a big nbn site and they have great product pages for each of their nbn service offerings. Its a good idea to sometimes check out big company pages to see how they are marketing their services online, and take some cuesfrom them. Take for example their ‘business nbn page‘.

  • Call to action above the fold on their hero section with the ‘enter your address’ feature
  • Business nbn plan cards as the first item of content after the hero section
  • Detailed descriptions of the benefits of business nbn
  • Customer reviews (yes annoying, as you can’t add this to your chiropractic website)
  • Longer form FAQs at the bottom of the page, covering commonly asked customer questions. Publishing longer form FAQs is also good for SEO as the page can rank for more keywords while providing more value to the reader.

Sydney Spinal Care

A chiropractic example of a good condition page, specifically optimised for the search term ‘chiropractor for bulging discs’. By having condition pages for each of the conditions you are comfortable treating, your chances of having your website show up when a potential patient searches for these terms increase.

  • Large page title, showing the keyword as the main heading
  • Value proposition – their new patient consultation offer is showcased as the first item of content you see on the page, enticing patients to book
  • Large call to action ‘phone and ‘New Patient? Start Here’ buttons that direct users on the next step.

Key points

  • Take the time to create unique pages for every service and condition
  • Try to fully optimise it AND link to it – from your Footer and other pages
  • Get creative with copywriting that compels new patients to take action.

Marketing your services effectively on your website involves creating unique pages for each service, utilising footer links, implementing internal linking, and engaging in compelling copywriting.

It really does pay to invest in a solid website design that showcases all that you do.
